Construction Management Graduate Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Construction Management Graduate. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Engineering or Science and a keen interest in construction management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with project team members, clients and other internal/external parties to ensure coordination of activities
  • Liaising with senior colleagues and mentors as appropriate
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the scope of work assigned
  • Demonstrating an understanding of commercial aspects (hours and capital cost) of work
  • Using initiative in problem-solving and making decisions under direction of others
  • Demonstrating knowledge of industry standard methodologies and tools
  • Preparing technical documents in accordance with agreed schedules and reporting progress in a timely fashion to avoid undue delays
  • Carrying out site visits/site surveys
  • Staying up-to-date with current technology, regulatory requirements and industry standards within the discipline

Requirements include:

  • Primary Honours Degree (Level 8) in Engineering/Science
  • Proficiency in engineering software
  • Relevant experience in related industry
  • Computer literacy with good experience of MS Word and Excel

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work within a multi-discipline team environment. They will also be flexible and willing to travel locally and internationally to meet project requirements.
