Job Title: Social Care Worker - Special Care Dublin

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Care Worker to join our team in a Special Care Setting. As a Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for promoting the rights and responsibilities of each young person within the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person
  • Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans
  • Liaising with family members and other professionals in relation to the care of young persons

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree level 7+ on the National Framework of Qualifications in one of the following disciplines: Social care or Applied Social Studies, Youth and Community, BA(Hons) Youth and Community Development, BA (Hons) counselling and Addiction Studies, Disability Diploma (Primary Degree), Social Science
  • A commitment to a minimum of 2 shifts per week, ideally 3
  • Client focus, compassion and empathy are essential to the role
