Validation Engineer Job Description

">Job Description

This role involves supporting validation activities associated with the qualification of new tools. You will be responsible for writing and executing process validation protocols, reporting on new product introductions, and revalidation due to process or material improvements.

You will also be involved in maintaining and supporting compliance to ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 systems standards, incorporating solutions to sustain and improve the Quality Management System, and implementing continuous improvements through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Additionally, you will provide direct support and involvement in GMP and regulatory audits, review and execute Factory acceptance testing and site acceptance protocols, prepare and deliver training modules as required, and support Continuous Improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a third-level qualification in an engineering discipline or polymer science. A minimum of three to five years' experience as a Validation Engineer in an injection moulding/medical device background is also required.

Experience in statistical analysis (Minitab), SPC, and validations is essential. Strong attention to detail, the ability to be influential and proactive, and excellent communication skills are also important.
