The role is a challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic and commercially astute environment with 2-4 years' post-qualification experience. This position involves joining a leading team of experts specializing in professional indemnity, medical defence, and healthcare regulation.
Job Summary:
- This is an opportunity to work on high-profile cases involving medical negligence and represent clients in professional misconduct hearings, inquests, tribunals, and judicial review proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support medical negligence defence cases with significant settlements.
- Provide clear and pragmatic advice on healthcare regulatory issues, including record-keeping, ethical policies, FOI, and data protection.
- Represent clients in professional misconduct hearings and advocate in court.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years' PQE with exposure to medical defence, clinical negligence, regulatory, or related professional indemnity work.
- Strong litigation background and excellent analytical, drafting, and client-communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
