Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Job Description:

  • As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance improvements and leading a team of production staff to achieve high levels of performance and employee engagement.

  • Our ideal candidate is a goal-oriented leader with exceptional influencing and communication skills who can effectively coordinate and focus the work of skilled employees toward important goals, prioritizing activities that lead to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of production staff to ensure high levels of performance and employee engagement.

  • Evaluate employee performance, conduct performance appraisals, and coach/mentor and develop your team members to encourage and support a high-performance work culture and develop future leaders internally.

  • Utilize Stryker's Production System tools to increase performance and productivity.

  • Guide and mentor junior team members within the Operations Team.

  • Ensure all key metrics and targets (including quality, cost, and service) are achieved while playing a key role in budget setting for business units alongside finance partners.

  • Build networks with other key teams and divisions across Stryker's franchises.

  • Lead operations processes to ensure all products meet/exceed established quality standards.

  • Drive compliance to FDA, ISO, and company requirements and champion efforts to comply with safety, quality, and operational documentation requirements and practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Master's in Business, Production Management, Engineering, or similar discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience.

  • 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • 2 years minimum supervisor experience.

  • Excellent knowledge & computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills in a matrix organisation.
