Main Responsibilities
- Cross-checking patient information for accuracy
- Data entry and coding
- Logging files on the laboratory computer system
- Providing specimen results to internal and external clinics
- Completing GDPR checks as required
- Sorting post for the laboratory and sending specimen results
- Rechecking results from external laboratories
- Compiling statistics reports for management
- Filing and archiving patient charts and documents
- Training and mentoring new staff members on SOPs and laboratory systems
- Performing general administrative tasks related to the department
