Dromoland Castle Hotel & Country Estate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resort Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the resort's finance function.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Review costs and implement processes where savings can be made, assisting the Chief Financial Officer in the administration of all financial aspects of the hotel's operation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure the Heads of Departments understand departmental KPIs.
- Margins Analysis: Review margins and highlight where improvements can be made, reviewing weekly revenue & payroll forecasts - review of actual vs forecast and preparation of weekly, monthly & year-end forecasts.
- Leadership: Lead involvement in the month-end process, championing weekly/daily meetings and interactions with Heads of Departments, being a true support to the hotel within all areas of accounts and finance.
