Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in accounting and compliance? We are seeking a skilled Statutory Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and maintaining adherence to local and international standards.

This position requires exceptional analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills. As a statutory accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing financial transactions, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with local and international standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and making payments on time.
  • Participate in monthly closings and year-end audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete.
  • Support and contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.
