HR Administrator Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for individuals looking to build on their HR career and gain hands-on experience in a busy, people-focused environment.

The successful candidate will be based in Cork but will support HR operations across both Cork and Dublin, with travel required once a month. You will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle and acting as the go-to person for everyday HR queries.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organizational skills. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for managing onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing administrative support to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including offer letters, contracts, and reference checks.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in our HR systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing welcome packs and induction schedules for new hires.
  • Assist managers with recruitment administration, including posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
  • Take minutes during HR meetings as required and provide administrative support to employee relations processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator or Coordinator role is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Discreet and able to handle sensitive information.
  • Strong people and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable using HR systems and confident with Microsoft Office applications.
