Job Title: Operational Specialist

We are seeking a skilled operational specialist to support our production team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, working across both day and evening shifts.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and recording all incoming kits before approving them for production. They will also prepare packaging lines and complete box/line clearance records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and record all incoming kits before approving them for production.
  • Prepare packaging lines and complete box/line clearance records.
  • Fulfill batch records accurately.
  • Operate automated packing machines (front and rear end).
  • Follow safety procedures when working with packaging machines.
  • Keep machines clean and well maintained.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure standards are met.
  • Pack inner boxes into outer cartons and label them for shipment.
  • Prepare cartons for dispatch, including labels and packaging.
  • Complete shipment paperwork.
  • Release finished product from production.
  • Carry out quality audits.
  • Work with Quality Systems Coordinator.
  • Track and report on KPIs to measure production efficiency.
  • Monitor product flow from inspection to shipping, ensuring documentation is completed according to GMP/GDP standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts.
  • Basic computer skills for recording documentation.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
