Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our night shift team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating complex machinery and working collaboratively with others to meet productivity targets.

About the Role:
  • Operate CNC equipment and perform cell activities including polishing, cutting, straightening metal, finishing, and cleaning.
  • Accurately identify cosmetic irregularities and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training of less qualified personnel.
  • Perform NDT activities and final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish.
  • Change belts and wheels as necessary for a proper finish.
Requirements:
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
  • Desirable skills: experience polishing or buffing metals, operating CNC equipment, reading blueprints, working with precision measuring equipment, visual inspection, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
  1. Mechanical Operations: Perform tasks related to mechanical operations including polishing, cutting, straightening metal, finishing, and cleaning.
  2. CNC Equipment Operation: Operate CNC equipment for the production of products.
  3. Quality Control: Accurately identify cosmetic irregularities and take corrective action.
  4. Training and Development: Exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training of less qualified personnel.
  5. Additional Responsibilities: Perform NDT activities and final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish, change belts and wheels as necessary for a proper finish, and perform visual inspections of parts and paperwork.
