About the Role:
Are you a skilled engineer with experience in setting out and project management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team on a large commercial new build project in Arklow, Co Wicklow.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can effectively manage site operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain precise records of work performed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Senior Engineer and provide regular updates on site progress.
- Maintain high standards of quality and ensure all materials and work performed meet project specifications.
- Set out all works accurately and survey the site to identify any potential issues.
- Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the workforce involved in the project.
- Evaluate design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify any hazards or areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- • A degree or diploma qualification in a relevant field such as engineering or construction management.
• Proven experience in setting out and project management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Valid driving license.
