Job Title: Strategic Finance Leader

About the Role:

The Strategic Finance Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's strategic direction, delivering robust financial insights and incisive commercial analysis to drive performance, profitability, and long-term growth.

This key position requires a bridge between finance, operations, and commercial functions, supporting long-term planning, developing compelling business cases, and presenting financial data to inform investment, pricing, and cost efficiency strategies.

The post-holder will proactively identify risks and opportunities to continuously optimise financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver robust financial insights and incisive commercial analysis to drive performance, profitability, and long-term growth.
  • Act as a bridge between finance, operations, and commercial functions.
  • Support long-term planning, develop compelling business cases, and present financial data to inform investment, pricing, and cost efficiency strategies.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities to continuously optimise financial performance.

Requirements:

  • A blend of strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Capable of translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Exceptional analytical ability, sound problem-solving skills, and adaptability within a dynamic environment.
  • Professionally qualified accountants with significant experience in finance business partnering or commercial finance.
