About Our Facility Management Role
Our manufacturing facility in Cork, Ireland is a leading manufacturer of high-quality PCBAs, subassemblies, and complete devices.
We specialize in manufacturing automation and provide services for the entire product lifecycle.
Job Overview
This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining all facilities and utilities on site.
The successful candidate will have NFQ Level 8 with 5 - 7 years experience in a similar role with supervisory management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all facilities and utilities on site.
- Procure subcontractors' services as required to fulfill requirements.
- Supervise & train direct reports and coordinate resources to ensure site objectives are achieved.
- Effectively maintain plant utilities and systems to ensure compliance and continuity of services.
- Supervise and coordinate utility upgrades.
- Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance procedures for critical utilities and the Facility.
- Manage contractor activity, capital projects and budgets related to Facilities activities.
- Identify improvement projects (Cost, Processes, Systems) to improve the Facilities functions and reduce the total cost of the Facilities function.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
- Guarantee compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.
Requirements
- NFQ Level 8 with 5 - 7 years experience in a similar role with supervisory management experience.
- Proven track record in facilities management in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
- Experience of facility management in the Medical device industry would be an advantage.
- Experience in a facility which is ISO14001 certified is an advantage.
