Job Overview:

A transport administrator plays a vital role in the smooth operation of logistics and transportation services. As a transport administrator, you will be responsible for managing daily tasks such as updating collection and delivery statuses, coordinating with internal teams, drivers, and customers to ensure top-notch service, and handling transport queries and customer tracking requests.

The ideal candidate will have strong accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining a calm and positive attitude even under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update collection/delivery statuses
  • Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and customers to ensure excellent service
  • Handle transport queries and customer tracking requests
  • Input job data into systems quickly and accurately
  • Apply rates/charges and assist with shipment processing from bonded/duty areas
  • Support warehouse coordination and tackle issues proactively

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar admin/logistic environment (preferred)
  • Strong accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Calm, positive attitude-even under pressure
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach
  • Full B Licence and access to a car
