The role of the Lead Site Reliability Engineer involves overseeing a team, possessing a deep understanding across various technical domains and guiding others on business and technical matters.
This position entails leading design reviews for resiliency, breaking down complex issues into manageable tasks for engineers, and serving as a technical lead for medium to large-sized products.
Key Responsibilities include managing incident response to minimize business impacts, coordinating cross-functional teams, and serving as the primary point of contact during major incidents.
- Manage incident response to mitigate business impacts by coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Provide support during critical situations, quickly identifying and resolving issues to prevent financial losses.
- Participate in 24x7 support coverage as required.
- Oversee, track, and validate all changes to the Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
- Implement security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on cloud platforms.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the reliability and stability of team applications and platforms using data-driven analytics.
- Document and share knowledge within the organization through internal forums and communities of practice.
- Provide ongoing guidance, tools, and solutions to support organizational growth.
