About the Role:

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, creating personalized care plans that meet their requirements.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while also helping with mobility and transferring clients safely.
  • Prepare nutritious meals, assist with household chores, and maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, healthcare providers, and other care team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document changes in client condition or behavior, reporting these to relevant parties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in care work is desired, but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Clear communication skills, both spoken and written, are crucial for effective care and interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • A good standard of English is required for understanding care plans, documenting client information, and communicating effectively.
  • A driver's license and access to your own car are necessary for traveling between clients or work locations.
  • Flexibility, including working alternative weekends, is also required.
