Job Title:

Commercial Finance Manager

Nuamanufacturing is changing the face of home construction in Ireland by embracing innovative technologies to meet increasing demand for higher standard homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly board operations packs including variance commentary and key events.
  • Collaborate with departments to automate reporting inputs and evolve existing processes.
  • Manage fixed asset registers and oversee capital expenditure linked to expansion plans.
  • Complete month-end close ahead of group consolidation.
  • Develop and refine Solver reports for quarterly forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Update site models and standard reporting for redesigns, costing changes and programme adjustments.
  • Analyse design or construction method changes impacting site costs and report findings.
  • Monitor sales pricing movements.
  • Partner with Group Finance to deliver accurate cost variance reporting, identify efficiencies and drive performance to budget/forecast.
  • Support audits, provide ad hoc analysis and assist Operations Director/Head of Finance with additional projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge.
  • Solid experience in management accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, ideally within construction or a related industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to build, automate and refine reports and financial models; experience with Solver or similar systems an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills interpreting financial data, explaining variances and linking results to operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills partnering effectively with finance, operations and site teams.
  • Proactive, organised and adaptable with focus on process improvement, automation and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
