You will thrive in a dynamic environment, working closely with healthcare teams and external partners to ensure continuity of care and shared decision-making.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with individuals who have experienced Acquired Brain Injury to co-create personalised rehabilitation plans
- Supporting people to build everyday living skills, promoting confidence, independence, and community participation
- Helping individuals explore vocational opportunities, return to driving, or find suitable housing that meets their needs
- Providing education and emotional support to families and carers as they navigate life after brain injury
- Sharing your knowledge through training and supervision, empowering staff and students to deliver person-centred care
- Advocating for each person's voice to be heard, linking them with local services and supports that enhance their quality of life
- Offering practical advice on equipment and adaptations that make daily life more accessible and comfortable
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist who brings both clinical expertise and a deep commitment to person-centred care. The successful candidate will be someone who sees beyond diagnosis — who listens, advocates, and empowers individuals to rediscover their strengths and live life on their own terms.
You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to co-create rehabilitation plans that reflect each person's unique journey.
