  • We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Design and deliver EHS training programs to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement among staff.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and drills to ensure readiness in case of an emergency.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in an EHS role, preferably within medical, pharma, healthcare, or laboratory environments.
  • A strong understanding of Irish H&S legislation (HSA) and relevant healthcare standards is essential.
  • A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is required, with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 exposure being an advantage.
  • The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent influencing and engagement skills.
  • A proactive, organized, and independent approach to work is necessary, particularly in a part-time capacity.
