Environmental Health and Safety Role

This is a part-time role requiring an experienced EHS professional to support safe operations across clinical and laboratory environments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Compliance with health and safety legislation, including Irish H&S regulations and relevant healthcare standards.
  • Developing and delivering EHS training programs and inductions for staff.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an EHS role, preferably in medical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and relevant healthcare standards.
  • Holding a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, with exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage staff at all levels.
