About the Role:

This is a wonderful opportunity to become an integral part of our residential care team. As a dedicated and compassionate caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to individuals with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively as part of our on-floor duty team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to meet the unique requirements of each individual.
  • Foster meaningful relationships within the community by actively engaging with residents and promoting independence.
  • Support key workers and multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality care services.
  • Administer prescribed medications while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Empower individuals to recognize their own value and enhance feelings of self-worth.
  • Ensure individuals requiring personal care receive assistance with dignity and respect.
  • Contribute to housekeeping tasks and encourage resident participation and independence.
  • Document and report incidents and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and communications to drive positive change.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports for efficient service operation.
  • Adhere to health and welfare procedures, implementing safety precautions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 7 professional degree in Applied Social Studies or a relevant field.
  • Registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU.
  • Knowledge of HIQA Standards and relevant legislative requirements under the Health Act 2007.
  • Previous experience working in a clinical setting.
  • A valid driving license.
