Job Title: Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a safety specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing access control for employees, visitors, and contractors to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
  • Conducting regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • Screening and searching individuals and packages to prevent loss and damage.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies, including positive searches and other sensitive situations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to queries from clients and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and audits using computer-based systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong commitment to our principles of fairness and mutual respect. You must also hold an SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license, along with 5 years of checkable history and references. Security Guards are required to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. They may also be required to work overtime, which could involve extended periods of time away from home.
