Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing and analysis on in-process, stability and finished product samples using HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF analytical techniques.
  • Review and authorize lab data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support Analytical Technical Transfer activity by testing reports and documentation.
  • Document review and updates as required.
  • Equipment calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Method validation/verification.
  • Train QC Chemistry Laboratory colleagues on new techniques and procedures.
  • Laboratory investigation support.
  • Laboratory housekeeping and maintaining GMP standards.
  • Assist in regulatory audits.

Requirements:

  • Hold a third level qualification (Degree/Diploma) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a similar scientific subject.
  • Have at least 5 years relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Have strong technical writing skills.
  • Be detail oriented, self-motivated with good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
  • Be a self starter and capable of working on own initiative.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF testing would be advantageous.
