Senior Product Development Specialist

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Research and Development Engineer to join our Medical Device team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device design and development, with a strong background in mechanical or biomedical engineering.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from material changes and process improvement to regulatory submissions and shelf-life studies.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain and Quality teams on product/process optimization projects.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of current products, including design, materials, performances, and manufacturing processes.
- Manage project sub-parts as part of a larger project team and provide direction to other team members.
Key Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in all stages of medical device design and development (including design with SolidWorks, prototyping, and testing).
- Mechanical or biomedical engineering degree or equivalent.
- Specific experience on Medical Devices, cardiovascular or neurovascular implants or instruments, including catheters, stents, delivery systems.
- Strong design and technical ability based on a broad and deep knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
