Reconciliation Analyst

The daily reconciliation of cash for mutual funds is a critical function. As a Reconciliation Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities include monitoring exceptions to the bank, researching and resolving cash discrepancies, and providing timely exception status reports to internal business partners.

You will work closely with various teams, including Fund Accounting, TAAC, Cash and Banking Operations, Fidelity Transfer Agents, and Transfer Agent Banks, to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations and exception resolution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Protecting Fidelity through reconciling account activity or researching and resolve cash exceptions with the appropriate custodian bank
  • Providing exception status reports to business partners
  • Identifying, participating, and encouraging the team's participation in development of cross-divisional business initiatives
  • Assisting with research, trouble shooting, escalation and resolution for more complex activity, discrepancies, or widespread production issues
  • Preparing, analysing and reviewing various daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc oversight reviews and management reports

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for contributing toward reporting to internal business partners or presentations to senior leaders.
