Job Title:

A seasoned Cost Estimator is sought after by our client, a leading Irish Electrical Contractor, to lead the evaluation and interpretation of project contract documentation. Key Responsibilities include planning and examining supplier and sub-contractor enquiries, providing precise valuations in a timely manner, and commercial control of sub-contractor accounts.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • 3+ years' electrical experience in a Cost Estimation role
  • A comprehensive understanding of work contracts and their implications on project cash flow management
  • Able to negotiate with clients on a professional level and provide information and analysis of issues & risks as required by Management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A working knowledge of Electrical Tenders would be a distinctive advantage
