Job Role

 

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage compliance portfolios, review and oversee deliverables, engage with clients on tax matters, conduct research, collaborate with teams, mentor junior staff, improve processes, and oversee finances.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Manage corporate tax, income tax, and VAT clients ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all relevant tax obligations.
  • Review and Oversight: Review corporate tax, income tax, and VAT compliance deliverables prepared by junior staff ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for clients on compliance matters including advising on the impact of tax law changes and responding to Revenue correspondence.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research on tax technical compliance and advisory manner including the application of evolving tax developments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver coordinated and efficient client service.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: Support the development of junior team members through mentoring coaching and on-the-job training contribute to performance appraisals.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of compliance processes including the use of tax technology and transformation initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing working capital including WIP billing and collections in line with departmental targets.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Credentials: CTA accounting qualification is an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience in a tax compliance role ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporate and personal tax compliance excellent communication organisational and project management skills proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
