This role involves providing technical expertise in the maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment, primarily catering to the needs of the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Servicing and repairing a range of equipment including industrial ovens, cookers, grills, and other cooking appliances.
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain high operational standards.
  • Performing routine inspections and testing to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Providing training and support to clients on the safe use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Servicing industrial laundry equipment as required.

This is a field-based role requiring travel to client sites, so a full, clean driver's license is essential. Strong communication skills are also required to effectively engage with clients and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in the maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Familiarity with laundry equipment is advantageous but not essential.
  • A valid FGAS Certificate demonstrating expertise in handling refrigerants and compliance with safety regulations.
