Job Title: Software Infrastructure Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Software Infrastructure Specialist to design and build scalable systems for our trading platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building Linux-based platforms, with a strong focus on automation, optimization, and innovation. They will work closely with our network engineers and software developers to create high-performance solutions that meet the demands of our business.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  1. Automate and evolve our toolset using Python, Bash, and Jenkins, focusing on performance-related issues and projects.
  2. Optimize operating systems and network stacks for performance and bandwidth or latency, conducting root-cause analysis of systems issues.
  3. Innovate and build complex infrastructure solutions using cutting-edge hardware, including servers, network switches, and storage systems.
  4. Collaborate with Strategy Developers and Quantitative Researchers to understand business problems and coordinate with network and storage teams to implement scalable solutions.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience building Linux-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with kernel-level and I/O subsystem tweaks and tools such as sysctl, strace, tcpdump, and netstat.
  • Recent hands-on experience with automation in Python or other tools.
