Job Description

Role Overview: We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to deliver individualised care to young people in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans and Placement Plans to support the well-being of young people.
  • Support young people with educational activities, both at home and in school, to promote their personal development.
  • Deliver responsive residential care aligned with the Odyssey Model to ensure the safety and emotional well-being of young people.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and communicate effectively with parents, professionals, and referral agents.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and service development to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field that meets the criteria for registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
  • Valid driving license and right to work in Ireland.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
