Role Overview: We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to deliver individualised care to young people in residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans and Placement Plans to support the well-being of young people.
- Support young people with educational activities, both at home and in school, to promote their personal development.
- Deliver responsive residential care aligned with the Odyssey Model to ensure the safety and emotional well-being of young people.
- Maintain accurate daily records and communicate effectively with parents, professionals, and referral agents.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and service development to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field that meets the criteria for registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
- Valid driving license and right to work in Ireland.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
Competitive Salary: A salary from €37,440.00 per annum to €41,184.00 per annum, commensurate with experience.
