Electrical Engineering Summer Placement Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Engineering student to join our team for a three-month summer work placement programme. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live projects, working alongside experienced engineers in Ireland, the UK, and Mainland Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with report preparation, including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-offs, and tender schedules.
- Support the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue and analysis of returned tenders.
- Update delivery schedules to control deliveries and clarify queries with the Design team via the request for information (RFI) system.
- Prepare programmes using MS Project and monitor progress against the programme, issuing regular reports.
- Produce look-ahead programmes to assist production teams and prepare method statements and risk assessments with the construction team.
- Maintain a register of contract variations and prepare test packs for recording the completion of systems.
- Carry out quality control through inspections and snagging, as well as document control, recording, and transmitting information.
- Assist with financial control of contracts during the construction stage and liaise with clients' design teams and contractors on technical issues.
Requirements:
- Working towards an Electrical Engineering degree.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
