Summer Planning Placement Experience

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Planning Student to join our team for a summer work placement programme. The successful candidate will be placed on projects in Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe.
The training will be fully on-the-job under the supervision and mentorship of a Senior Planner in a live construction environment. The placements are typically three months in duration, starting in June and ending in August.
Responsibilities- Development of Project Controls Systems specific to the project including: Setting up Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); Progress Measurement System (PMS) setup; Develop the Schedule, S-Curves and Manpower Histograms; Cost Loading of Programs as required; Baseline the Schedule
- Implementing the Project Controls systems
- Progress Measuring of all works using the bespoke PMS
- Monitoring labour hours and Analysis of labour efficiencies
- Updating project schedule in Primavera/ASTA
- Systems Turnover Tracking
- Monitor delays and client Notifications as required
- Working towards a Construction Management or related Degree
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
