Job Description:
  • Deliver individualised care to young people referred to our service, helping them grow, develop new skills, and overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans and Placement Plans tailored to each young person's needs.
  • Support young people with educational activities, both at home and in school, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Provide responsive residential care aligned with our trauma-informed care approach, prioritising safety, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and communicate effectively with parents, professionals, and referral agents.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and service development, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
  • Relevant experience working with teenagers exhibiting challenging behaviour, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices.
  • Familiarity with the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres and the ability to uphold safeguarding protocols, confidentiality, and company policies.
