Job Title: Strategic Asset Management Leader
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Alternative Investments group, overseeing performance management processes and providing input for staff and disciplinary actions.
- Provide subject matter expertise support to large clients in the region, engaging with new business, sales, and RFPs, as well as BAU operations for Investment Outsourcing Operations.
- Assist in supporting the expanding LTAF/LTIF Semi-liquid structure in the EMEA region, ensuring local expertise is available to support growing business within Alternatives.
Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining specific subject expertise, advising business management, and relevant third parties. Provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm or business unit strategy. Interact with various business areas to determine automation needs and provide ongoing systems support. Maintain risk management and compliance programs and activities for the assigned group.
Requirements:
- A strong background in private debt, syndicate loan, and Alternative investment products is required.
- In-depth knowledge of business units/functions.
- Prior experience providing comprehensive consultation and leadership to teams and partners at a high technical level.
- Prior experience conducting performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions, and provides hands-on training to staff.
- Prior experience developing periodic goals, organizing work, setting short-term priorities, monitoring all activities, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets with exposure to Private Equity/Valuation Reporting/Reconciliations would be an advantage.
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
- Extensive exposure to Securities Operations, with prior experience in Alternative Assets domain is preferred.
- Experience of working with Risk, Audit, and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
