Payment Processing Specialist

As a Payment Processing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial transactions. Your expertise in payments and analytical skills will be invaluable in identifying unusual payments impacting the company and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage investigative research and analysis regarding complex financial transactions to identify unusual payments.
  • Oversee low and high value funds transfers across the company network to worldwide geographic locations using various systems and applications.
  • Understand Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, and Know Your Client (KYC) regulations in multiple jurisdictions and create efficiencies with a focus on speed of process and sufficient control.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient team structure through effective resource management, focusing on correct skills for roles and optimum resourcing level for the team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established company policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and support direct reports, actively engaging with them through regular team and individual meetings and evaluating team members in accordance with performance management programs.
Requirements:
  • Educated to bachelor's degree level in business/finance-related discipline or equivalent qualification/work experience.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, as well as ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals.
  • Able to prioritise work while under pressure, both supporting the team and/or independently in a dynamic environment to ensure assignments are completed within established deadlines.
  • Customer-focused, proven ability to provide superior customer service, as well as a record of capacity to follow through on issues to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Good knowledge of/demonstrated interest in international clearing systems, messaging formats & Swift.
