Healthcare Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide exceptional care in the home. This role involves supporting clients with various tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and light household duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing or assisting with meal and drink preparation.
  • Light household tasks including dusting, laundry, washing up, and vacuuming.
  • Personal care, encompassing washing, bathing, showering, and toileting.
  • Supporting with the administration of medication.
  • Assisting clients with morning and bedtime routines.
  • Shopping for essential needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of your daily activities.


Requirements:
  • Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential; must be able to commute around area as this is home to home role.
  • Full QQI 5 major Healthcare Support Award and/or QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
  • Must be enrolled, completing, or have completed QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
