Responsibilities

">
  1. Manage a portfolio of corporate tax, income tax, and VAT clients ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all relevant tax obligations.
  2. Review and oversee corporate tax, income tax and VAT compliance deliverables prepared by junior staff ensuring quality and accuracy.
  3. Act as a key point of contact for clients on compliance matters including advising on the impact of tax law changes and responding to Revenue correspondence.
  4. Conduct research on tax technical compliance and advisory manner including the application of evolving tax developments.
  5. Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver coordinated and efficient client service.
  6. Mentor and develop junior team members through coaching and on-the-job training contributing to performance appraisals.
  7. Enhance compliance processes including the use of tax technology and transformation initiatives.
  8. Assist in managing working capital in line with departmental targets.

Requirements

  • CTA qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in a tax compliance role preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporate and personal tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication organisational and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive solutions-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement and tax technology is beneficial.
