About the role

This is a leadership position within our retail division.

Our stores operate across Munster, offering a wide range of products including building supplies, agri supplies, DIY, paint, fuel, electrical goods, household items, garden equipment, pet food, equine supplies, and workwear.

The successful candidate will report into the site manager.

  • Lead by example to drive a safety-first culture on site.
  • Deliver excellent customer experience in store, optimising sales and improving the store to meet targets.
  • Ensure section standards are consistently met, including merchandising and floor standards.
  • Manage a motivated sales team, providing updates and development opportunities.
  • Manage weekly deliveries, stock control, ordering, and product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, legislation, and audit standards.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in retailing with strong product knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Self-motivated and prepared to be flexible when required.
