Our team is seeking a skilled Building Services Specialist to join our construction department.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Services professional with 5+ years of experience to work on large-scale projects from acquisition through to delivery and operation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting liaison with utility companies, tracking equipment and plant, monitoring building services installation and commissioning works, and developing inspection plans with contractors.

As part of our construction team, you will assist in the day-to-day management of matters pertaining to the construction, technical and operational stages of a project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting liaison with Utility companies to ensure their infrastructural and interface requirements are understood and communicated.
  • Tracking equipment and plant through each stage from submittal approvals through to samples and mock-ups / ordering / FAT's / delivery and quality checking.
  • Monitoring Building Services installation and commissioning works on site against planned progress requirements.
  • Formal snagging, quality walk downs and associated inspection and sign-off of the Building Services Installation.
  • Developing site-specific Inspection, Test, Commissioning and Handover Plans with Contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have technical qualifications with drive, work ethic and adaptability required to play an important role in delivering landmark projects.

Key qualifications include:

  • Technical qualifications in Building Services Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Building Services Engineering or related field.
