Counter Fraud Attorney

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation solicitor to join our team in the Counter Fraud department. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, complex cases, making a real impact in the fight against fraudulent claims.

The successful candidate will have proven experience handling litigated cases, preferably involving Vehicle Damage and Personal Injury (Defendant side preferred), as well as knowledge or experience in insurance litigation and/or Counter Fraud.

• Manage a varied caseload of litigated County and High Court matters, primarily on an hourly rate basis
• Draft court documents, applications, instructions to Counsel, and settlement offers
• Investigate and identify potential fraud using intelligence and forensic analysis
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to clients and attend hearings and consultations
• Negotiate with third-party solicitors, insurers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Court Rules, internal policies, and legal practice standards
• Maintain case progress and client satisfaction through effective communication and time management

• Proven experience handling litigated cases, ideally involving Vehicle Damage and Personal Injury (Defendant side preferred)
• Knowledge or experience in insurance litigation and/or Counter Fraud
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
