Seeking a skilled counsellor to manage online referrals, provide short-term counselling, and deliver timely feedback.
About the Role:
- Manage online referrals promptly and schedule appointments within agreed timelines.
- Provide counselling services based on individual cases, adhering to suitable theoretical approaches.
- Deliver written and verbal feedback and case notes in a timely manner.
- Report any risks to the Case Management Team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a relevant professional qualification or be registered with a recognized body.
- Possess 3+ years of post-qualification experience and at least 450 counselling hours, if not accredited.
- Have regular access to clinical supervision and maintain professional indemnity insurance.
- Work from a dedicated consulting room with a neutral ambiance and suitable waiting area.
- Have a clear answerphone message identifying yourself as a counsellor.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Skilled in assessing presenting issues and planning appropriate support.
- Experience in short-term counselling, solution-focused interventions, or similar settings.
- Knowledge of organizational dynamics and workplace issues.
- Ability to refer clients to other supports and resources.
Working Procedures:
- Understand and adhere to our case management protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with case management teams via email, phone, and paperwork.
