About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team as an Investment Counsellor. As a key member of our global investment firm, you will have the opportunity to build long-standing relationships with high-net-worth clients and provide exceptional service.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to connect with and educate various audiences. You will be responsible for managing a book of high-net-worth relationships, providing expert advice on investment strategies, and updating clients on portfolio changes and market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and tailored investment solutions
  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing ongoing investment advice and guidance
  • Develop and implement effective investment strategies, taking into account clients' financial goals and risk tolerance
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and economic developments, using this knowledge to inform your investment decisions
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver outstanding results and exceed client expectations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with private clients in the banking or wealth management industry
  • QFA or working towards QFA preferred
  • Solid knowledge of financial concepts, markets, current events, and the market serviced
  • Able to connect with and educate various audiences
  • Maintain positivity and empathize with clients in good times and bad
