Job Opportunity: Lead Food Service Manager

Oversee the successful operation of our hotel's restaurant, lounge, and conference facilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned food service professional to lead a team of managers, supervisors, and staff in delivering exceptional guest comfort and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in managing large teams, and a proven track record in food and beverage operations.

The selected individual will be responsible for managing stock control, inventory management, rostering, and training staff to meet high service standards. They will also collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional guest experiences.

A key requirement for this role is the ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced food service professional who can drive results, motivate their team, and contribute to the success of our hotel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of managers and staff to achieve exceptional service standards
  • Managing daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and stock control
  • Training and up-skilling staff to meet high service standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a 4/5* hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing large teams and prioritising tasks
