
Customer Service Representative

The Dublin hotel is seeking a Front Office Ambassador to join its unique four-star team.
You will report to the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager, supporting/working towards providing our customers with excellent service, working as a team with your colleagues and to ensure the guest is offered the highest standards in service and care, anticipating their needs and being attentive at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Offer the highest level of guest service in the Reception Area of the hotel, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Front Office as directed by the Front Office Manager & Assistant Manager.
- Welcome all guests to the hotel, answer queries before, during and after the guest's stay to maximize sales throughout the hotel. Specific responsibilities include checking in and out of guests on arrival and departure; handling enquiries via telephone and at the Front Desk; following all procedures related to cash and keys; reservation duties when necessary.
- Read all Front Office SOPs and understand current standards.
- Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently and courteously; ensure complaints are escalated to the FOM, Asst FOM or DM as needed.
- Prepare upselling trackers by Friday each week and compile totals for Management review.
- Stay informed about daily operations and events, and brief the team when necessary.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of department products and total hotel facilities.
- Encourage and maintain an effective working relationship with colleagues and managers.
- Show pride and commitment in your area of work.
- Attend training sessions, appraisals/assessments, and department meetings as required.
- Maintain all company policies and procedures and ensure hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment.
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
