Device Maintenance Specialist

The role of a device maintenance specialist is pivotal in ensuring the optimal functionality of medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare facilities.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Executing routine maintenance contracts on various medical devices to prevent downtime and ensure peak performance.
  • Providing immediate repair support and limited clinical assistance.
  • Establishing effective communication with customer support administration through regular interactions.
  • Managing customer relationships by emphasizing open communication and satisfaction.
  • Attending training sessions locally and internationally to enhance technical expertise.
\Requirements:\
  • Possess a Level 5-6 NFQ qualification in electronic servicing, mechatronics, physics, or a related field.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Have formal qualifications or aptitude for IT and networking (preferable).
  • Gain experience in medical device service or electronic equipment maintenance (preferable).
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, including customer focus and effective communication.
  • Display analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Be a self-motivated team player.
