Job Title:

Accountant

  • Spearhead month-end close operations by performing core accounting tasks, reconciliations, and ad-hoc reporting within SAP's MEC framework to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Process and review general ledger journal entries (accruals, corrections, reclasses) efficiently.
  • Prepares and validates balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions.
  • Manages monthly close trial balance preparation, cut-offs, and SAP close routines effectively.
  • Develops and delivers ad-hoc reports and management summaries to stakeholders.
  • Maintains compliance with IFRS/local standards and supports audit documentation and queries.
  • Collaborates closely with onsite finance team for successful close execution.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 38 years of experience in multinational/shared-services accounting.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI-GL and proficiency in MEC-related reporting.
  • Strong skills in journal processing, accruals, IC accounting, and reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and deadline-driven mindset.
  • Hold a qualified accountant certification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) along with a finance/accounting degree.
  • Proficient in English language and possessing excellent collaboration skills.
