About Our Audit Department

This is an exciting opportunity to join our audit department in Dublin as a qualified associate. You will report into the senior audit leadership team and be responsible for delivering high-quality auditing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, either remotely or on-site at client premises.
  • Assist in planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring files have appropriate documentation.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager.
  • Plan the execution and finalisation of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.
  • Deliver exceptional auditing services to clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses risk effectively.
  • Develop and maintain proactive relationships with audit clients, ensuring they are informed and satisfied throughout the year.
  • Research and solve technical queries from clients.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with Irish GAAP.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Has started and is on track to achieve ACA or ACCA qualifications.
  • Has at least 1-2 years' experience working in practice.
  • Is passionate about providing exceptional client experiences.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and technical skills.
  • Has knowledge of business trends and emerging technical and industry developments.
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is an effective team player with motivation and self-starting qualities.
