We are seeking an experienced delivery operations manager to oversee utility and civil projects across the South East region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading contractor working on major infrastructure programmes, including water and leak reduction works.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on delivering complex projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple framework sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality.
- Work in partnership with the Health & Safety team to implement and maintain site safety procedures.
- Oversee project reporting, forecasting and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with agreed schedules, scope and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to programme requirements.
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues and implement solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement and foster strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years' proven experience in construction management, ideally within utilities or civil infrastructure.
- Background working with a Principal Contractor is highly desirable.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, regulations and quality standards.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery.
