Job Summary
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Virtualization Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing virtualization technologies for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust virtualization solutions using VMware and Nutanix technologies.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of VMWare and Nutanix clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Create documentation for best practices in deploying Hyper converge solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance on virtual platform system performance and availability recommendations.
  • Plan and engineer expansion of converged infrastructure, including deployment and testing of HA/BCP virtual environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with VMWare technologies.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI.
  • Extensive virtualization experience, including design, implementation, and management of virtual environments.
  • Experience with VMware vCenter design/Nutanix Prism Central and implementation best practices.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on all VMware products.
  • Extensive server hardware knowledge, including HPE, Dell, or SuperMicro servers.
  • Ability to administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) attached to virtual environments.
  • Thorough knowledge of setting up different BCP technologies, such as Zerto, SRM, Rubrik, Netbackup, etc.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams working across different areas in multiple locations in different time zones.
  • Nice to have skills: Experience working with GPU at the enterprise level for VDI deployment.
  • Working experience with other operating systems, such as Linux, Windows.
  • Basic network knowledge working in an enterprise data center environment.
  • Powershell or Python scripting experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with automation tools, such as Chef, Jenkin, Pipelines, etc.
  • Experience with other hypervisors, such as Citrix XenServer, Hyperv, Openstack, is a plus.
  • Container experience with Kubernetes or Docker is a plus.
